BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Wednesday afternoon, California Highway Patrol Buttonwillow officers located a kidnapping suspect that was attempting to flee the state.
According to the CHP Buttonwillow, the juvenile victim was safely returned to their family.
The suspect was transferred to the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
