BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — You can build your own arcade game at Camps at Engineering For Kids of Kern. The summer camp focuses on STEM projects from civil to chemical to industrial engineering.

Kids ages five to fourteen can be enrolled. The stem camp focuses on realistic projects for its students to learn science, technology, engineering, and math.

"So we wanna take that boring out of science and math and make it more interesting so they want to say 'hey, I want to be an engineer.'" said Tayndra Hunter, co-owner of Camps at Engineering For Kids of Kern. "This is so fun. Its great to see when kids come to our program. They don't know what to expect and then they're excited to show their parents their projects"

For more information you can visit the camps website.
