Babies, toddlers, children and tweens are encouraged to take over Pioneer Village for Bakersfield's Kidsfest Saturday.

Organizers say the annual event will include waters slides, an obstacle course laser tag, shopping and other entertainment. There will also be different activities aimed at different age ranges.
