TEHACHAPI, Calif. — The King of Siam restaurant located at 760 Tucker Rd in Tehachapi was closed by the Kern County Public Health Services on Monday due to numerous health code violations.

Among the items listed were live cockroaches in the food prep area and exiting from the ceiling, food debris on walls and floors, eggs being improperly stored, uncovered food, and grease build up that posed a fire hazard.

As a result of the violations, the restaurant was given a score of 62%.

In two inspections on April 8th and November 26th of last year the restaurant scored 94% and 97% respectively.
