Fresno County Sheriff's office has reopened the King River from Pine Flat Dam to the Tulare and Kings County lines. 

In late May, Sheriff Margaret Mims issued an order to close the river to help keep the public safe due to the large amount of melting snow in the Sierra, and the heavy amount of water that flowed into and out of the Pine Flat Dam.
