BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Update: According to Krispy Kreme, they raised at least $10,000 during their fundraiser and expect to have final totals by tomorrow.

The Krispy Kreme in Bakersfield is hosting a Donation Day on Thursday, February 21 in partnership with Pastor Angelo Frazier and the River Lakes Community Church to raise money for the children of Kristina Stratton, who died in a house fire on February 8.

They will be serving free doughnuts and drinks from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Krispy Kreme.

100% of all donations will go directly to benefit the children.
