KSCO finds "Chop Shop" in central Bakersfield; several arrests made

According to KCSO, officers found two stolen vehicles parked against a curb of a home near the 2200 block of O Street.

KCSO conducted a probation search at the residence, they found several other stolen vehicles and other vehicle parts which were dismantled from stolen vehicles.

The investigation found the suspects had conspired in an illegally operated "Chop Shop" and have been arrested for various felony sections and warrants.

The six that have been arrested for the illegally operated "Chop Shop" are 42-year-old Melissa Velasquez, 53-year-old John Mellor, 52-year-old Randy Spralding, 50-year-old James Portillo, 34-year-old Jessica Hill, and 30-year-old Guillermo Gonzalez.
