BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — National Police Week and Peace Officers Memorial Day is this week and ceremonies will be held tomorrow to honor those of the Sheriff's Office that have lost their lives while serving Kern County.

The ceremony will be held on tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Sheriff's Office Memorial Monument on Norris Road.

The Sheriff's Office will also be holding a peace officer ceremony at noon at the Kern County Peace Officer memorial at 1415 Truxtun Avenue.
