Beginning September 30 through October 11, 2016, Lake Evans and the West Entry Gate at the Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area will be closed to the public.
The area beginning at the Kern River Inlet to the West Entry Gate has been reserved for a private function. Fishing will not be allowed at Lake Evans during this time. However, fishing will be allowed at Lake Webb during the event.
Lake Evans and the West Entry Gate will also be closed from November 15 through November 19, 2016 for another private function. Again, fishing will not be allowed at Lake Evans during this time, but fishing will be allowed at Lake Webb.
The campground and picnic areas on the east end of the facility will remain open to the public. All individuals visiting the Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area during these times will be required to enter the facility at the Main Gate (East Entry).
