Jose Soto, 36, of Lamont pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine Monday.

Officials found over two pounds of methamphetamine in Soto’s Lamont home on May 5, according to court documents. Soto was already on Kern County Mandatory Supervision for a prior narcotics trafficking offense.

Soto’s sentencing is scheduled for March 6, 2017. He faces a maximum statutory penalty of life in prison and a $10,000,000 fine.
