BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: A preliminary determination for the cause is that vehicle hit a pole, according to PG&E.
An outage in Southwest Bakersfield is currently affecting over 1300 people.
The outage began at 10 p.m. and restoration is expected at 1145 p.m.
PG&E is currently assessing the situation. BPD is investigating a crash in the area of Stine Road, but it is unclear as to whether the crash caused the outage.
