UPDATE: 2:30 PM:
Accordig to California City Police Department, they have received many calls regarding a possible connection with the Las Vegas shooter, Stephen PADDOCK, and California City.
Police are investigating information that PADDOCK may have lived in California City around 1997.
Anyone who may have had contact with Stephen PADDOCK while in California City is asked to call Police at (760) 373-8606.
UPDATE 2:06pm:
Cal City police were in the area of Jacaranda Ave and 87th talking with neighbors to see if they knew Stephen Paddock.
Per Police: there is a record of police responding to the home, possibly robbery. The owner at that time was a Stephen Paddock. Cal City police are UNABLE TO CONFIRM that this is the same Stephen Paddock as the Las Vegas shooter.
As of 2 p.m., police haven't found anything. No neighbors knew him since many of these homes are new. Police have left the area.

Records show that 64-year-old Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock may have lived in California City.
According to records from Spokeo, he could have lived in Kern County as recently as 2013.
