It was an emotional day in Washington, D.C. for this group of WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans who are finally seeing the memorials built in their honor.
Many of these veterans said the main thing they’ll take away from this trip is how so many young people came up to shake their hands and thank them for their service. One veteran added he can “rest easy” after seeing that from the younger generation.
