RIDGECREST, Calif. — Members of the Ridgecrest community came together on Saturday to discuss the town's latest efforts to recover from the 7.1 magnitude earthquake.

Kern County Fire Public Information Officer Andrew Freeborn, Ridgecrest Police Department Chief Jed McLaughlin, Mayor Peggy Breeden, Kern County Supervisor Mick Gleason and other city leaders discussed their efforts to overcome the damage caused by the earthquake.
