On Friday the Latino COVID-19 Task Force met to push for more coronavirus testing in the Latino community.
This is all part of an effort to help kern county move into the next tier of the state-designated system. It's also a push to get the Hispanic population tested and self-isolating when needed.
Of the known positive cases local Hispanics make up 232 of the 381 deaths related to COVIDA and 55% of the total positive results.
