A lawsuit was filed Friday in federal court against Kern County and juvenile corrections officer George Anderson on behalf of a young woman who was sexually abused at juvenile hall.

This is the second case involving Anderson and the third case overall filed on behalf of a sexual abuse survivor by corrections officers at James G. Bowels Juvenile Hall.

The victim said the abuse violated her rights and the deficient oversight, training, and practices at juvenile hall failed her.
