BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Monday afternoon, the California Resources Corporation issued a letter detailing expected layoffs due to impacts of COVID-19 and lower activity levels.

These layoffs refer to their facility on 900 Old River Road.

Layoffs are anticipated to be permanent, 55 positions will be affected.
