Jordan "Turk" Eliades, former North High School football coach, died on the evening of December 16, 2016.

Eliades was recently inducted into the first North High School Hall of Fame class and had coached and taught at the school for over 30 years. The 90-year-old Eliades had the football field named after him, as well as a statue of him near the endzone.

He always told his players, "You can never play this again. Live your life to be the best you can be."
