The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has canceled the search for a missing 10-year-old girl.

Liz Petris was last seen at Stiern Middle School in the 2500 block of Morning Drive in east Bakersfield on September 14th, 2016 at about 2:00 pm. She failed to return home from school and has not been seen since.

Petris is listed as 5'1" with brown, medium-length hair and wearing a grey sweatshirt with oversized buttons, pink shirt and blue jeans.

Petris was found unharmed Thursday morning.
