BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A local airman has graduated from basic military training at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
Jesse N. Gutierrez completed an intensive, eight-week program that includes training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Gutierrez earned distinction as an honor graduate.
He is the son of Jose and Janneth Gutierrez of Delano and is a 2018 graduate of Delano High School
