BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Brides across the country have found themselves having to cancel or reschedule their wedding day due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Many of them are unsure when they will have their wedding. This news inspired a local business, Allison Claire Imagery, to offer a free remote wedding detail photoshoot for brides.

Allison Claire is a Bakersfield native whose business provides video and photography services for special occasions, such as maternity shoots and weddings.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, she has rescheduled four weddings.

"Right now it's so important for everybody to do what they can small or big to just keep the positivity going," Allison Claire said.

After hearing from so many disappointed brides she started to think of ways to lift their spirits.

She then uploaded a social media post, offering to have brides send in items that they've chosen for their wedding day.

She will then create a wedding detail suite photoshoot. Where she will professionally style and photograph all of the pieces used for their big day.

"This will be completely free, basically the only out of pocket expense for the bride is shipping," Allison Claire said. "I am providing all the extra goodies."

Allison Claire says, 90 percent of her clients are based in Bakersfield, but she is offering this special service to brides across the country.

Already, she has nine brides who are already shipping their items to her except their actual rings.

"It helps other vendors to get their work out, include them on the conversation and the project," Allison Claire said. "It keeps small businesses in the loop and that’s what’s going to keep small businesses afloat."

Allison Claire Imagery is extending this offer to grooms as well.
