BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Clinica Sierra Vista is hosting a series of back-to-school community health fairs providing healthcare services to local families.

Today from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m at the 34th Street Community Health Center, children can receive free health screenings, immunizations, physicals and other resources. The community health fair will feature games and entertainment for the entire family.

The local community clinic will also giveaway 300 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to children that attend. Clinica Sierra Vista will continue to provide these services after the health fair but by appointment only. The community health fair is open to the public and is located at 2000 Physicians Blvd.
