The 'Force' is with a local filmmaker and his love of everything Star Wars!
Barry Michael is an independent artist and filmmaker and he's been waiting, a long time for his chance to take a trip to a galaxy far, far away.
The owner of AB Media House in East Hills Mall, a store that doubles as a workshop, lab and studio, where Michael plans to create a short film based on the original Star Wars film, Episode IV, A New Hope.
He already has props and a full size cockpit of a Millennium Falcon.
All he needs is some more funding and volunteers.
It's the thing independent films are made of.
Michael is holding a casting call, Saturday, Dec. 12th at his shop near the theaters from 10am until 4pm.
Stars Wars: The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18th.
