The Armory in southwest Bakersfield told 23ABC these types of events are extremely upsetting.
The gunman in Las Vegas reportedly had what is called a "bumpstock" on one of his rifles. It's an accessory you can add to a semi-automatic rifle to make it shoot faster.
It is legal to purchase in California, and the Armory sells them. Jeff Kreman, assistant manager at the Armory said bumpstocks aren't very popular here because they're pricey and burn a lot of ammo.
Kreman also said he hopes there aren't quick reactions because of Sunday's shooting, and wants the community to look at the person who is responsible, not the weapon.
