Local firefighters will be bartending at Firehouse Restaurant to fundraise for the Muscular Dystrophy Association on December 6.

The Bakersfield Professional Firefighters and the Kern County Firefighters will compete against each other at Firehouse Restaurant to see who can make the best cocktails as they bartend for the night.

Firefighters will be bartending from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in one-hour shifts, and whichever team raises the most money in tips wins.

Along with firefighters bartending for the night, Firehouse Restaurant will donate 15% of all their sales during the event. 

In addition, customers can vote for their favorite firefighters that are bartending.
