The Fairy Godmother Foundation is organizing a 'Murder Mystery' dinner on Friday August 18th. The proceeds will benefit the foundation and the free wedding they plan on putting on for a disadvantaged couple in Bakersfield. 

The Fairy Godmother Foundation puts on one wedding every 18 months for a couple that is facing life altering circumstances and may have had to table their wedding because of it. 

The theme for the dinner is a 1924 New Year's Eve party where guests are given a character and asked to play out that character during the entire event. 

The party begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and is scheduled to end at 10 p.m. at The Station, located on 7900 Downing Ave. 

There currently are still tickets available but sales do end tonight, Wednesday August 16th, and are $75 each.
