Local Latina leader, Leticia Perez, makes history

Local Latina leader and county supervisor Leticia Perez has been named President of the California State Association of Counties. 

Perez was elected to be on the county board of supervisors in 2012. She is now the first Latina woman to be named to the post of president of the California State Association of Counties. 

The California State Association of Counties, or C-Sac, is in charge of public policy for all counties in the state, and as president of the association, Perez will be advocating on behalf of all California counties at the state capital.
