BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Both the Bakersfield Police Department and Kern County Sheriff's Office received calls of a body hanging from the Westside Parkway at Mohawk St. around 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

There is a picture circulating social media of the scene.

BPD officials confirmed it was a suicide, however details are limited and they continue to investigate.
