Bakersfield native Mike Brown is competing in the 2018 CrossFit Western Regionals in Del Mar, California over Memorial Day Weekend. 

The three day event will include a barrage of workouts including elements of gymnastics, weight-lifting and endurance events. The top-5 men and women will then compete for the title of "Fittest Man and Woman in the world," at the 2018 CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin.

The CrossFit Regionals will be available to stream on CBSSports.com, as well as the CBS Sports app for key connected TV devices and the CBS Sports mobile app on iOS and Android.
