The outpouring of support continues as local law enforcement agencies from across the country travel to Dallas in support of their slain brothers and sisters in blue including Kern County's own.

Earlier this afternoon Jared Kadel of Kern Law Enforcement Association and members of the Bakersfield Police Officers Association attended the funeral for Senior Corporal Loren Ahrens of the Dallas Police Department. Kadel said the love from communities across the world has been overwhelming.

“I somewhat know what they're going through and I think being at one of the funerals today and seeing the support that's out there, I'm sure it means a lot to the family," said Kadel.
