Local organizations host free women's self-defense class

The Bakersfield Elite Martial Arts and Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault are hosting a free women's self-defense class on Tuesday.

Damsel in Defense will also be in attendance teaching self-defense techniques at the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault offices located at 1921 19th St.

The class will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. RSVP by calling (661) 322-0931.
