BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Chapter of the American Red Cross announced Tuesday that there are two volunteers from Kern County deployed to work at Red Cross shelters in the Midwest.

Volunteers typically serve for two weeks at a time.

You can get involved by helping victims of disasters like storms and countless other crises by making a donation to American Red Cross disaster relief fund.
