It is the most wonderful time of the year and most Kern County residents are looking for the best Christmas lights around town.

Tehachapi resident Wayne Uhl spent the whole month of November putting his Christmas light display up.

Uhl grew up loving to looking at Christmas lights with his family. He couldn't wait to buy his own home to show off his own light display for others to enjoy.

For 15 years Uhl has been doing just that, he says putting his own light display up gives the community something to look forward to each year.

“I love Christmas time, the atmosphere the mood that everyone’s in and everyone seems to be giving and so I like to give back to the community and the kids have something to enjoy themselves," said Uhl.

Uhl's display has it all, lights from top to bottom, cartoon characters like Snoopy and Dory, Snowman, Reindeer, and a nativity scene.

His Christmas light display runs every night from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. until the end of December.

You can check out Uhl's display on the 900 block of Aleah Lane in Tehachapi.
