BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Latin music, margaritas, live art demonstrations and food; the perfect pairings for your Saturday night.

The Kern Margarita Championshipwill be held Saturday, August 24th from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste margaritas from each of the 12 vendors.

The local restaurants and bars that will compete include La Mina Cantina, Sonder, The BLVD and Old Fashion Social Drinkery.

The proceeds will benefit the Josh Farler Foundation, which will go to cancer patients in Kern County who need assistance traveling for treatments.

Unfortunately, VIP tickets are sold out, but general admission tickets are still available for purchase.

The event will be held at the Electricians IBEW Local Union 428, located at 3921 Sillect Ave in Central Bakersfield.
