BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — School officials from Bakersfield College and McFarland High School recently made a trip to our nation's capital to share their Early College partnership.
Earlier this week, BC President, Dr. Sonya Christian and McFarland Superintendent, Aaron Resendez presented details on the program to educators from across the country. Early College addresses nationwide educational gaps by allowing high school freshmen to complete college courses during their high school years.
McFarland High School will be the first public high school to convert dual enrollment into Early College pathways for all 280 incoming freshmen.
