A local vigil honoring Alton Sterling and Philando Castile is scheduled this evening.
According to the Facebook event page, the vigil is happening at the Fraternal Hall San Loaquin Lodge #11 on 410 E. California Avenue beginning at 7 p.m.
Organizers intend to show their love and support for Sterling's and Castile's family during the event.
The event is free and open to the public.
