As the presidential campaign continues and the California primaries get closer some Bakersfield residents say they haven't seen a candidate with the qualities they want in a president.

Others have made their pick and are ready and registered to vote.

With Trump and Clinton in the lead, California could potentially become a crucial state if Bernie Sanders or Ted Cruz wins the primaries leading up to California.

23 ABC confirmed that Ted Cruz is set to open an office in downtown Bakersfield on Monday, but some in Bakersfield think it's too little, too late for Cruz.

Cruz's office is set to open on Monday. The last day to register to vote for the June 7th California primary is May 23rd.
