BAKERSFIELD, California — According to the Bakersfield Police Department around 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning, they received a call that a transient woman has given birth behind a Goodwill store.
The birth occurred behind the Goodwill store off of Stine and Pacheco Road, near the railroad tracks.
BPD says that both baby and mother were breathing and transported to a local hospital.
