A local connection just days after the attack in Nice, France as a former Liberty High School student desperately searches for her college classmate.
Paige Basconcillo, graduated from Liberty High in 2013. She was one of 85 Berkeley students studying abroad in Nice and was on the promenade during the attack.
She was able to run to safety but is now looking for her friend, Nick Leslie. Paige shared a picture of Leslie on her Facebook and Twitter page saying "Please help us find our dear friend".
Others who were with Paige also shared the picture saying that Leslie was able to escape the truck and was not hurt, but he was lost during the chaos of trying to make it to safety. He's has not been heard from since.
The study abroad program is suspended for three days of national mourning but will continue until its end date on July 24th. Four students decided to return home early from the program.
