Multiple events are set to take place around Kern County to help celebrate the National Day of Prayer.
This is the 67th year of the National Day of Prayer, a day established by Congress, which takes place the first Thursday of May.
This is the 32nd year Kern County will celebrate locally.
Below is a list of events taking place around Kern County:
-Prayer rally and worship concert on 19th and Eye Street starting at 5:30 p.m.
-Youth outdoor event on the corner of Mt. Vernon and Columbus starting at 6 p.m.
-Arvin National Day of Prayer Service at Casa de Oracion y Restauracion starting at 7 p.m.
-Bakersfield National Day of Prayer Service at Church Aposento Alto starting at 7 p.m.
-Taft National Day of Prayer at Temple Agua Vida starting at 7 p.m.
