The Los Angeles Dodgers are honoring Forrest Frost as a military hero during Monday night's game with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Frost -- a World War ii veteran who took part in an honor flight out of Bakersfield in 2013 -- recently celebrated his 100th birthday. He served as the chief engineer aboard a United States fuel tanker during the war.

After the war was over Frost lived in Bakersfield for 35 years working for Shell Oil.

Frost was featured just two weeks ago as part of 23ABC's A Veterans Voice series.

Every home game the Dodgers honor the men and women who have served by showcasing one "Military Hero of the Game."
