BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Baja California was hit with a 5.5 magnitude earthquake Friday evening, that's according to the United State Geological Survey.
It struck at 7:52 p.m. in Alberto Oviedo Mota which is near the Califorina-Mexico border, approximately 30 miles from the town of Mexicali.
It's unknown if there are any injuries or damage from the earthquake at this time.
