CHP officials received reports at around 4:24 am, Sunday of a multiple-vehicle crash on Southbound I-5 at Grapevine Rd.
According to CHP's traffic website, the crash involved a blue SUV and a black BMW.
For a while, all lanes were closed.
CHP officials are also reporting major injuries and lanes 1, 2 are still closed at this time.
It is unknown at this time on the extent of the injuries.
The lanes were cleared after 9:00AM
