A man accused of trying to set his neighbor on fire with a homemade flamethrower in December 2015 has been sentenced to three years in a California prison, according to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.
William Curtis was arrested after attempting to light an adult male on fire after an argument. The victim was not injured.
Curtis was ordered to pay restitution and to stay away from the victim for 10 years. It is unknown what prison he will be in.
