Robert Lorenzo Garrett, 24, was acquitted of first degree murder and two counts of attempted murder Tuesday after a two-month jury trial.

The Kern County Superior Court jury found Garrett not guilty on all charges, including allegations carrying a penalty of life in prison.

Garrett was arrested back in July 2014 in relation to a shooting in East Bakersfield that killed one.
