CALIENTE, Calif. — A man already in police custody for several felonies has been charged with murder in the death of 38-year-old man who was found in Caliente.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office On December 18, 2018, 38-year-old Marcos Munoz was found dead on Bena Road, west of Caliente Bodfish Road, in Caliente. The Kern County Coroner ruled Munoz died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Michael Pinon has been charged with first degree murder in connection with Munoz's death. Pinon was already in custody for four other felony charges.
