Bakersfield Police officers arrested a man after he was involved in a fight that turned into a shooting at a Fastrip early Saturday morning.
A BPD official said at around 1:35 am, they responded to a a report of a fight at the Fastrip store, located on the 3700 block of Ming Avenue.
According to the BPD, they discovered three adult male victims inside the store suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were transported to a local hospital with moderate, injuries.
The BPD investigation revealed multiple subjects arrived at the business in several vehicles.
Occupants from the vehicles became involved in an argument which quickly escalated into a physical fight involving numerous combatants armed with various weapons.
A patron who was uninvolved in the altercation was also assaulted by these individuals.
BPD said that during that altercation, multiple gunshots were fired resulting in three people suffering gunshot wounds.
Authorities identified the suspect as 21-year-old Christopher Givan.
Givan was located and arrested for PC245(a) (4)/ADW and VC 20002/hit and run and booked into the Kern County Jail.
