Man arrested after multiple guns, drugs, stolen trailer found during search

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man was arrested last week after officials found multiple guns and a stolen trailer during a home call.

According to the Kern County Probation Department's Post Release Community Supervision Unit, on August 16 officers assigned to search a home in the area of 800 Watts Drive found Ruben Perez who is on active Post Release Community Supervision.

During a search of a trailer at the property, officers said they found one short barreled rifle, one .40 caliber handgun, ammunition, and about 3.2 grams of methamphetamine. The trailer Perez was occupying also returned stolen and was recovered, according to officials.

Perez was arrested for a violation of Post Release Community Supervision and charged with weapon, stolen property, ammunition and drug related charge
