A man robbed a taco truck in Lamont Wednesday evening near Main Street and Di Giorgio Road.

The robber used a simulated handgun to rob the Taco Jr. vending truck and left the scene on a bike. 

Deputies later found him near Field and Dunnsmere Street. He resisted arrest so deputies used force to arrest him.

Officials recovered the loss but did not find any weapon. The suspect was taken to the hospital but did not sustain any significant injuries.

The suspect was arrested for felony robbery and felony resisting arrest.
