A local man is behind bars tonight after being arrested at a local park on Sunday for gun and gang related charges.

Police got a call for someone with a gun at Lowell Park in south Bakersfield at about 3:13 p.m. on Sunday. When they got there, they found a loaded, unregistered handgun (pictured above).

BPD arrested 38-year-old Harold Williams for firearms violations and participation in a criminal street gang.
